The final challenge!

Working in pairs you need to ...

  • Arrange a set of 4 cones so that the front of each cone is exactly 1 metre apart as shown in diagram (you can draw chalk lines if you prefer)
  • Stand No.1 person behind first cone/marker (this partner stays here throughout)
  • Stand No.2 person behind second cone/marker so that they are facing No.1
  • They must throw and catch the bag in pairs 6 times
  • If successful, No.2 moves back to next cone/marker which should be 2 metres from No.1 - see diagram
  • They must throw and catch the bag in pairs 6 times
  • If successful, No.2 moves back to next cone/marker which should be 3 metres from No.1
  • Throw and catch the bag as many times as possible
  •  Continue as above at 3 metres until either partner misses or drops the beanbag (get them to sit down at this point if others are continuing)
  • Score 1 point for each successful catch

PLEASE NOTE:     Movement of feet is allowed whilst catching the bag however, if either partner steps infront of the cone, they may continue from where they were but this throw/catch does not count.  It would be advisable for them to stand back from the cone a little incase this happens,  Use a pupil or leader to help keep an eye on this.

Results MUST be submitted by Friday 13th June - no later or you will be disqualified
