              London Youth Games - 2008



10 pupils from Hendon school, Copthall Girls and St Michaels travelled to Crystal Palace to represent the London Borough of Barnet at the London Youth Games in the indoor rowing event this weekend.

A star is about to be born. Ogulcan stepped in at the last minute to help the team out.  Not sure if he's fully aware of what he's let himself into based on this picture!

  Well he's certainly finding out now! 
He was fantastic and took 3rd place
    out of 33 boroughs!

Gutted!   Due to the fact that they were one team member down, their time had to be reduced by 1 minute.  Having led all the way, they had to stand and watch the other teams row on by 
                                         ................................................................



   Wow, even with one down,  we still took the silver medal!! 
                               How good was that?!
