...................................
Working in pairs (mixed pairs are allowed however, each pupil can only work with one partner), you need to complete the following as quickly as possible...
1) Without crossing the line, throw a beanbag into the air at least to head height and catch it then ...
2) Run to the hoop (approx 5m from the line) and drop the beanbag into it. Note: your hand must be over the hoop when the bag is released ie do not throw it from a distance
3) Run around the cone and return back to the hoop on the otherside
4) Quickly pick up the beanbag before you run back across the original start line
5) Throw or pass the beanbag to your partner who is waiting behind the line and as you do this, shout '1', '2', '3' etc depending on which lap you are completing
6) The 2nd person starts the circuit but must not run across the start line to the hoop before he/she has thrown and caught the beanbag
7) Repeat so that you complete the circuit twice each
8) Record your time
NOTE:
- The course should be 10 metres from the line to the cone as shown in the diagram. The hoop needs to be approximately 5 metres from the start/finish line
- If the beanbag is dropped at any point, you must pick it up and continue with clock still running
- Timing starts when the 1st person throws the beanbag into the air
- Timing stops when the 2nd person crosses the line after completing his/her second lap
