Yr4 Skipping Challenge
Hi everyone! Here's your new challenge.
This has been devised so that you can have lots of fun however, for a change you will be working purely as a single school entry. You need to ensure all pupils are given an opportunity to take part in school (all names of participants should be submitted to me) however, only the top score needs to be noted.
As usual, you can allow the children to have as many goes as you wish using any combination of names and then only enter your very best score. This is NOT an individual challenge, it is one which should allow each school to run as many intraschool trials and then to submit your winners.

Using any length of rope, start with 6 pupils standing facing the same direction - either as shown in picture or towards one of the people (adult or pupil) holding the end of the rope.
How many skips can you do before you stop? Yes, it's as simple as that!
As mentioned before, all pupils should take part and all names submitted.
If you do not have long ropes available, please let me know.
